Luis Hernandez, Hercor Insurance Group

Becoming a member of the Marana Chamber of Commerce has been one of the most impactful decisions I’ve made both professionally and personally. In May 2025, I had the honor of completing Impact Marana Class 2, a leadership development program that left a lasting mark on my life. I was humbled to receive a Congressional Recognition Award for my participation in this life-changing project—an experience that solidified my commitment to this amazing town.
The leadership, relationships, and sense of purpose I discovered through the Chamber and the program led to a major life decision: I sold my home in Tucson and became a full-time resident of Marana. Why? Because I wanted to be part of the Marana Movement—a community of business leaders and neighbors working together to grow responsibly, support one another, and lead with integrity. The Chamber has created more than just networking opportunities. It’s a space where organic leadership is cultivated, where business owners are encouraged to lead with heart, and where community truly comes first. The Marana Chamber stands out because it walks the talk—bringing together genuine people who care about their town’s future. Through this membership, Hercor Insurance Group has not only grown in visibility but has found a home in a place where collaboration, connection, and community leadership thrive. Serving with Heart: Why Community and Service Still Matter In a world filled with online quotes, flashy ads, and endless options, I’ve found that one thing still sets businesses apart—genuine service. At Hercor Insurance Group, we built our agency on a simple but powerful idea: people first. Insurance is more than policies and paperwork—it’s about protecting what matters most to families and business owners. And that requires trust. When we launched Hercor, we weren’t aiming to be the biggest. We wanted to be the most reliable, the most approachable, and the most people-centered insurance team in Southern Arizona. Whether it’s helping a first-time homeowner, supporting a growing business, or guiding someone through a tough claim, we’re there—step by step. We proudly serve the Marana and greater Tucson community, and being local means something to us. It means we answer our phones. We know your name. We show up when it matters. We don’t see you as a “number”—we see you as a neighbor. Great service isn’t complicated, but it does take intention. It’s about listening, following through, and always going the extra mile. I’m grateful to be part of a community where small businesses lift each other up. If you’re ever in doubt about what makes your business stand out, start with this: How do you make people feel? Because people won’t always remember what you said—but they’ll always remember how you made them feel. Learn More about this business here! Luis Hernandez |
