BarDown Fitness and Nutrition began as a small protein shake shop in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. In the early days, we sold another company’s products, but after a year, we knew we wanted better cleaner, filler-free supplements made in the U.S.A. With help from a team that included a medical doctor, a certified nutritionist, a personal trainer, a strength coach from the Minnesota Vikings, and several pro athletes, we developed our own high-quality line of whey and vegan protein powders. All products are soy-free, non-GMO, NSF for Sport certified, and double-lab verified.

 

In 2023, we moved to Arizona and started off doing markets in a pop up tent and quickly grew into needing a mobile trailer and also opened a second location inside LA Fitness in Marana, where we serve up protein shakes, fruit smoothies, natural energy drinks, protein coffee and acai bowls.

 

Today, you’ll find us at LA Fitness 6 days a week and sporting events, markets, rodeos, gem shows, and more across Tucson in the trailer and pop-ups on the weekend. We also offer kid-friendly drinks like fresh lemonades, limeades, hot chocolate, and “Sonoran Pop,” our signature take on flavored sodas.

 

Bar Down is more than just shakes and supplements, it’s a veteran- and Christian-owned, family-run business focused on community health. We help with meal planning, fitness goals, and weight loss coaching. We’re proud to give back through donations to local sports, scouting, and Catholic charities.

 

Together with our five kids, we’ve made Tucson home and we’re thankful for the love and support this community has shown us. It has been truly incredible!
