Beale's decision to locate in Marana is grounded in a deep respect for the community's vision. The company is proud to meet the requirements of the Town of Marana's forward-looking data center ordinance, which was created to ensure responsible growth. This includes designing the facility with a closed-loop, air-cooled system to protect the region’s water resources and only utilizing backup generators (Tier IV or greater, which is the most stringent emissions standards) for emergency use only, minimizing any impact on air quality and noise. Furthermore, all plans must undergo the town’s rigorous Specific Plan rezoning process, ensuring local government oversight every step of the way.

The company is dedicated to leading the industry in best-in-class environmental practices, which includes a strong commitment to renewable energy. Beale has joined the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) supporting our mission to set a new standard for developing sustainable data centers in all the communities where we are located. Beale Infrastructure will be meeting with Trico and TEP to identify renewable energy resources available to bring online together. This focus ensures that the necessary digital backbone for modern life—supporting everything from public safety to digital health records—is built with the lowest possible carbon footprint.
