I’ve been a video/audio professional for over 40 years, and I understand the power that videos and photos can have to take us back to another time and place, as well as the importance of preserving those cherished memories. However, it can be a bit overwhelming when you’re faced with the prospect of sorting through hours of film and tape, not to mention decades of pictures stored in boxes, photo albums and slide trays. Also, tapes become brittle and photos fade, so it’s vital to capture them before they’re irreparably damaged. It’s even more challenging when the technology to view these precious memories is no longer easily available.
At SLC Digital Memories, we have the equipment and the expertise to convert and transfer nearly any consumer videos, audio recordings, home movies and photos. We do more than merely digitize them, however; we also adjust the color and brightness of each scene, clean up the sound, separate each event (birthday party, soccer match, wedding, etc.) into individual files and, where possible, sort them into chronological order. We also sharpen and color correct photos as needed. Your files are then transferred to a portable flash drive that will allow you to view them on your computer or your SmartTV, as well as share them with friends and family.
Since we are located here in Marana, there is no need to risk damage or loss of irreplaceable items by shipping them; we can meet you wherever you like in order to pick up and deliver them in person.
