This year also brings a sharpened focus on our strategic imperatives. As Arizona’s flagship land-grant university, we take seriously our responsibility to serve the entire state through education, research, outreach, and partnerships that make a difference in people’s lives. From workforce development to advancing critical research and innovation, the U of A is committed to being a partner you can count on.

We are also proud to share that our budget is balanced, and what was a $177 million deficit has been eliminated. The university is providing well-deserved raises for university employees while preserving access by holding the line on tuition and fees for resident undergraduates.

We are especially excited about the return of Wildcat Fridays. Each Friday, Wildcats across Arizona and around the world are invited to show their pride by wearing red and blue. We’re also thrilled to introduce Bear Down Bash, a 14-part concert series during Arizona Football and Basketball game days. This partnership brings the energy of live music to the electric atmosphere, creating can’t-miss experiences before and after some of the biggest matchups of the year.
