Partnering for a Resilient, Thriving Northwest Corridor
At Tucson Water, we know that strong regional partnerships are key to a thriving future. As our communities grow, we’re proud to work alongside our northwest Tucson regional partners like the Town of Marana to support shared goals that promote economic opportunity, water security, and quality of life.
Marana’s commitment to strategic, well-managed growth aligns with our One Water 2100 plan—Tucson Water’s long-term vision for ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable water for future generations. Together, we’re investing in infrastructure that will serve residents, support local businesses, and, most importantly, protect our groundwater resources.
Key projects underway in the Northwest corridor include a new Advanced Water Purification (AWP) facility to be located near Ina Road and I-10, a state-of-the-art water treatment facility called the Northwest Wells Treatment Plant, and expanded capacity for reclaimed water delivery. These projects are designed with resilience and regional benefit in mind—bringing high-quality water supply options to the region while helping us meet our collective water management challenges head-on.
Tucson Water, an enterprise department of the City of Tucson, is committed to collaboration. Whether it's coordinating infrastructure, sharing data, or aligning long-term plans, we value the trust and teamwork that exists between our utilities, municipalities, residents, and business community. Water doesn’t stop at jurisdictional lines, and neither should our commitment to service.
We’re grateful for the leadership of the Marana Chamber and business community, and we look forward to continued partnership as we build a stronger, more water-secure future together.
