Michael & Bonnie Quinn, Founders, Rockin’ 4 Heros

Beige Minimalist Special Guest Star Instagram Post (4)

Rockin’ 4 Heroes, founded by Oro Valley residents Michael and Bonnie Quinn, is an all-volunteer 501c3 whose mission is to honor and support First Responders, Active-Duty Military, Veterans, and Gold Star families. A mission born of both grief and gratitude, the Quinn’s wanted to express their respect and thanks to the First Responder community who served their son PJ so well in the final year of his life before he passed from bone cancer at age 29. That desire grew to include our other public servants who serve and often sacrifice so much, and they believed that many Southern Arizona residents would want to share in that tribute.

The Rockin’ 4 Heroes concert is an annual outdoor concert that pays tribute to these heroes at no cost to the public. Business sponsors and private donations make this possible. Additionally, net proceeds raised go to their Hero Fund that continues to support these heroes long after the music ends. The Hero Fund creates new endowment scholarships, like the Jacob Dindinger Memorial EMT Scholarship at Pima Community College, and the Veteran Student Scholarship at University of Arizona.

The 5th annual Rockin’ 4 Heroes free concert is coming up on Sunday November 9th at 2pm at James D. Kriegh Park in Oro Valley, AZ. Local mariachi band Voces de mi Pueblo will welcome guests, followed by a Tribute Ceremony honoring those who serve us. Then get ready to rock as the talented and wildly popular Lexington Lab Band takes the stage with their authentic and heartfelt covers of many classic hits from the 70’s through the 90’s. Food Trucks, 50/50 raffle, and much more…family-friendly, too! Just bring your own chairs for open lawn seating. Gates open at 1 pm. Don’t miss this uplifting and fun event!
