• Pima Community College Small Business Development Center:

Launch your business, Grow your business, Sustain your business profitable the counselors are a seasoned team of professionals, and they are able to offer no-cost one-on-one counseling. The center has been awarded the Center of Excellence for their commitment and assistance to clients. In addition to the one-on-one counseling available, the center also offers training and workshops specific to the small business owner.


• Pima County Works:

The Pima of County Department Community & Workforce Development (CWD), the Pima County Workforce Investment Board (WIB), and the ARIZONA@WORK Pima County One-Stop partner with businesses, community organizations, government and economic entities, education and training institutions, and faith-based groups to efficiently deliver services by having common goals and measures for success.


• Arizona Commerce Authority:

The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is the state's leading economic development organization with a streamlined mission to grow and strengthen Arizona’s economy. The ACA uses a three-pronged approach to advance the overall economy: recruit, grow, create – recruit out-of-state companies to expand their operations in Arizona; work with existing companies to grow their business in Arizona and beyond; and partner with entrepreneurs and companies large and small to create new jobs and businesses in targeted industries.


• Growth Partners Arizona:

We help nonprofit leaders and small business owners who create change in economically distressed communities gain the operational resources and business guidance they need to improve the lives and economic wellbeing of Arizona residents. Growth Partners Arizona is a Certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).


Kiva-Growth Partners Arizona, in partnership with the Community Investment Corporation, launched the Kiva Tucson hub to help financially excluded entrepreneurs in Arizona gain access to capital. Kiva underwrites no-interest, no-fee community-backed business loans on its online platform around the world. Kiva can be the first rung on an otherwise inaccessible capital ladder for some small businesses.

• State of Arizona Depart of Revenue:

The goal of the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) is to help business owners maintain tax and licensing compliance. Your business must register with ADOR before conducting any taxable business activity in Arizona for transaction privilege tax (TPT) and withholding purposes.
